Staff is super friendly, the Hotel building is well maintained and feels "homey", the location is great, yes, this is not in the middle of the forest and there aren't any lakes and fall views from the window BUT - it isn't super touristy yet close enough to Rust and the Black Forest without being super crowded and expensive which is a major plus for large families like ours. Another thing to mentioned is the good AC, we were traveling during August and feared the heat and it turned out to be just fine because of it.

I spent one night in DAS SCHÖNE LEBEN Hotel, and I really appreciated it! Travelling with my bicycle, I asked the staff to park it in a safe place, so they opened me the garage. Then, I chose to have dinner and tasted the delicious Black forest burger. All along, the staff was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and with everything I needed for one night. The hotel is perfectly located near Hornberg, in the middle of the Black Forest. I definitely would have spent a few more nights to enjoy the sauna and the books.

Great location close to Freiburg, the Black Forest, Alsace region and Basel Switzerland as well the charming town of Staufen. The room was decorated lovely, with the reclaimed wood and the exposed stone. The host was friendly and helpful. We really liked the fact that they gave us a complimentary train ticket to use during our stay, which we used to take the train to Basel for the Christmas market. We definitely plan on staying here again in the summer to enjoy this wonderful region of Germany.

We stayed at Stadthotel for two nights on our recent visit to Gengenbach and we are so happy we chose this hotel! The room was very comfortable and the reception staff could not have been nicer. The breakfast offered many choices, and the staff remembered our preference on our second morning. The location is just outside the old town wall and very convenient. We would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this charming town in the Black Forest of Germany.

We made a great choice to stay here in H-Apartment in Triberg. The location of this apartment is superb - just few minutes walk from the MarketPlatz; as well as the Triberg falls. The host Mr. Jagdev guided us right from the beginning - from arriving smoothly at the apartment, to local siteseeing & restaurant options. Triberg itself is a beautiful town within the Black Forest area and choosing to stay in this apartment was a great choice for us.

Apartment was huge, really clean and every detail was taken into account. Excellent apartment. Location was very good for visiting this part of the black forest. Victoria was really nice and ensured we had everything needed. Not only this, the day of checking out, I had to take a meeting spontaneously after the check out and she provided a quiet room out of the apartment so that I could take that short videocall. Best "Gastgeber"

The Hotel is in a very prestine town in the Black Forest. They have plentiful parking and the hotel is easy to find by using Google Maps. The room was immaculate and quiet. It seemed almost new. It had a semi-private patio with a small garden. The bathroom was very nice and roomy. We stayed only one night but enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but very enjoyable.

Location! Location! Location! ❤️ We love that this hotel is facing the munster and walking distance to everything in the city center. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and that black forest cake from their restaurant is to die for. The market in the morning was so nice. I love the fresh flowers and the breads. Overall was just a great experience. I never get tired of Freiburg.

I don't often write reviews but Apartment Luise was exceptional. The apartment was perfectly clean and very comfortable. We came here to hike in the Black Forest and were able to complete many of our favourite walks directly from the apartment without moving our car. The secure parking was extra useful as parking in Feldberg is now very expensive. Loved the Nespresso machine !

Excellent facilities kitchen was v well equipped. Apartment was spotlessly clean and cared for and clearly attention to detail with towels, cleaning products and appliances. Wi-Fi was effective. Garden view was beautiful and ability to use garden was great. Made to feel v welcome by owner and booking in was easy and straightforward. Great location for base in Black Forest.

- Apartment is on 8th floor, with superb Black Forest views from the balcony - Comfortable beds - Well located for walking and cycling - Comfortable dining area, although it would benefit from having a light above the table. - Good kitchen facilities, although fairly cramped - Easy parking outside block of flats

Fantastic stay at Gasthaus Staude. Sebastian was a delightful and helpful with our Black Forest plans. Location was peaceful and easy to get to Triberg. Food was exceptional and likely the best we ate in Germany. Room was perfect for our family of four (kids 6&8). Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely hotel in the Black Forest, staff was friendly, waiters were wonderful. Hotel restaurant was very good, ate there twice and the food was great, breakfast had large selection . Beds were comfortable , bathroom was clean and modern. The area is beautiful ! Would stay again!

Super nice villa in the heart of Black Forest, access to amazing trails directly from the accommodation. Apartment was spacious and very well equipped. Walking distance to bakery, couple restaurants and a supermarket. Would definitely come back here again when in Black Forest.

Hotel location is amazing and it has a private beach right on the lake, we also liked the amazing breakfast. We liked the inner pool and the ping pong table. Beds were comfortable and the rooms are quite big and specious. We got the black forest red card and other discounts.

After 8 days in the Black Forest this hotel is the best The location 1 minute from the Therm The hotel provides robes and towels for the Therm ,the room was large and beautiful,the staff were so kind and helpful. We will not forget this beautiful hotel Thank you Anna

Hotel is within walking distance to town center and Triberg waterfalls. Off street parking available The hotel sits on the top part of Triberg so you have a good view of the Black Forest Rooms are super big Staff especially the cleaning staff are super friendly.

We came to Freiberg on holiday for several days, mostly to hike and enjoy natural areas in the Black Forest. The apartment was overall a comfortable and convenient base for seeing the region, with easy access to both the city and trains to various locations.

Great location, right across from Stadtgarten. Quick & easy access to hiking in the Black Forest. Most importantly, a very quick walk into the heart of Freiburg, the Münsterplatz. Also, relatively well shaded from the sun, at least out apartment was.

A nice Hotel with helpful staff and good food. The room was comfortable and the bathroom adequate. In a good location for exploring the Black Forest and close to the railway network. Free travel tickets for public transport were provided by the Hotel.
