Loved almost everything about The Little Guesthouse.. The garden location. The rooms were so charming and cozy, but plenty of room. Bathrooms were beautifully tiled and warm. The service was the BEST. The staff was so helpful and truly gave us the best advice. Can't say enough good about the entire experience.

The bed was comfortable and the balcony had a nice view of the mountains. During hot summer days, the air in the rooms is cooler, which is a relief after a full day of hiking and walking in the sun. The breakfast is always fresh, the host is very nice, kind, and helpful. We communicated in English, so the fact that I don't speak German was not a problem. For those who do not come by car, there's a bus station nearby. Waldhof is conveniently located about halfway between Salzburg and Fuschlsee, making it easy to visit the city one day and head in the opposite direction the next day, to bathe in one of the region's lakes or at least see their incredible blue water. (The app Sbg Verkehr is useful for checking bus schedules in real time or buying tickets.) Additionally, from Waldhof, it is easy to go into the forest, hike in the surrounding mountains and enjoy the view if you reach the Nockstein peak. Here, you don't feel like a client in a hotel, but rather like a guest in a home. A really nice experience.

The room was big and comfortable, a lot of sunlight. It is located in a beautiful calm area. Some snacks, coffee and tea were always available. The staff was very welcoming. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it takes you straight to the city in a short time.

That is Ballwein. Why? Because this pleasant, kind, warm and welcoming couple has managed to pull off something exceptional despite no other staff than themselves. From our arrival to the unavoidable departure everything was amazing. The place is located just 2,5 km from Salzburg centre, which you easiest reach by bus. The apartment looked brand new. Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. The breakfast and the host. Everything was perfect.

Located in a historic town house, right in the heart of Salzburg, the family-run arte vida boutique guesthouse offers a garden with a seating area and features rooms with Moroccan-style furniture. Great location and close to the city center. Great parking and the owner gave us a parking card.

Pension Katrin offers a quiet location in the green district of Nonntal, only 1 km from Salzburg’s old town. Wi-Fi access and parking are available free of charge. I liked everything about this hotel. Safe and quiet location, good for solo travellers like myself. You can walk to the city centre (15 min), or take a bus (the nearest bus stop is just 2 minutes away from the hotel). It’s nice that breakfast is included.
