Situated on a beach. Falling asleep to the powerful rhythm of ocean waves was majestic. I stayed here for one night - to be closer to the airport (DSS) - and I didn't want to leave. The staff are truly wonderful - including Ousmane and the two women who carried my heavy suitcase upon my departure. The local taxi service is reliable. Having been pre-booked, twice they showed up on time (once in the early hours) for transit to the airport. (Twice because my party had two flights to different destinations.) I'll never forget this place.

The property is filled with African art and artifacts. The rooms are modern and have balconies that face the ocean. We even had a chance to meet the owner and he was kind and generous after we wanted to extend our stay. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Dakar.
