Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Hotel El Jardin is located in Montezuma town centre and less than 100 meters from the beach. WiFi is available in public areas and is free of charge. We loved everything about our 3-night stay here. The room was spacious and tranquil (we had requested one facing the pool, not the road), and we could get to the pool just by going up some steps. Their aircon system was evidently clean, because it smelt as fresh as a daisy, and was used all the time while we were in the room because it was so hot and humid while we were there in July. The staff - Larissa and Gabriel - were really informative and helpful, we were made to feel welcome and loved the coffee 'on tap' in the mornings! We saw so much wildlife, mainly monkeys and iguanas, in the trees sitting by the pool, it was amazing! It was like a peaceful haven surrounded by jungle, right in the middle of Montezuma and within easy reach of everywhere - we loved it and would highly recommend.

Situated on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 900 metres from the Village of Dominical. The hotel is great value and excellent for kids. Our room was great and the hotel had everything you need for entertaining the kids - two pools, mini-golf, billiard, table soccer, and even its own jungle trail. We saw toucans, monkeys and iguanas on the facilities. They have excellent and friendly staff who respond fast. Another plus: the breakfast, which changed daily, and featured typical Tico as well as other options.

We had the best time here! It’s run by the sweetest family who instantly make you feel at home. From the moment you arrive, with a big, cozy towel waiting for you, everything feels super thoughtful. Every morning, fresh coffee magically appears on your own little terrace, and if you’re in the mood you can treat yourself to a delicious breakfast too. The place is super clean, comfy, and full of good vibes. Such a chill and lovely spot.

It has everything we needed for a short stay in Jaco. Close to the beach. The room was big, I loved the shower gel and body cream, the pool was big and clean.

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... The view was amazing. The breakfast offered a huge variety of delicious food. The pizza by the pool was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom with large plan and skylight was lovely. The buggy to and from reception was a lovely touch.

Situated in Uvita, 13 km from Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Ballena Rey Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I lost my cell phone, and staff member May was very instrumental in helping me to locate it, and it wasn't an easy task. I'm so grateful for her help!
