We liked the how clean, bright and quiet the hotel was, it was beautifully grand and was no more than 5-10 minutes walk to the train station. Everything was straight forward and the 24 hour convenience store was useful! However if we want a more authentic, experience there's a Lawsons in the hotel across the street. Overall the kids loved the hotel and so did we the parents. The breakfast was nice, the options were plenty and we loved how they catered to the little ones with their own plateware, utensils and their own little kids buffet stations.
MyStays Shin-Urayasu is located 2.2 mi away from Tokyo Disney Resort, and a free morning shuttle via Shin-Urayasu Station is provided. The hotel offers a restaurant and rooms with free internet.

The rooms were spacious for Japan standards. The microwave and refrigerator helped store and heat food from the convenience stores. Rooms were clean and the 3 rooms we booked for our family were next to each other. There's a large supermarket across the street for snacks and prepared food. We booked this place based on price as other hotels near Disney were expensive. It was a short bus ride and a 7 min walk directly to Disney Sea.

This property was perfect for people heading to Disneyland. It was located directly in front of a bus stop that took you straight to Disney, so that was very convenient. The actual hotel was so cute with all the little Disney details, so whimsical and fun. It was incredibly clean and well kept. Felt super safe to stay in and the charm and great reception service was nice to experience.

Very convenient to the train station, and only 2 stops away from Disney. Convenient store next door was great. Area is pretty barren though. If you want to find some stuff to do or places to eat you gotta hop on the train.

As British tourists we only spent one day at Disneyland, because there is simply too much to see and do in the rest of Japan. But I would have loved to spend two or three days here, seeing both the Disney parks, and really taking a bit more time to enjoy the rides, soak up the atmosphere and see some of the processions. But what would we have shaved off the rest of our trip to accommodate that? Everything is a trade-off, so the only real solution is to visit Japan for significantly more than two weeks, or to come back again and again.

We had 2 nights so we could spend the whole day in Disneyland. If people want to spend more than 1 day they should book longer. We ate at Outback Steakhouse. Some very interesting food and drinks named on menu. Could not find a convenience store anywhere on island. It rained the day we visited and taking my raincoat on and off every time we entered and left a venue was a pain. Grand Nikko was not a themed hotel for children. Train transport around island was good value and easy to use.

We spent 10 days in the Tokyo Bay/TDR area, which felt a bit long. We only did 4 park days but didn’t want to keep switching hotels. However, after using the Yamato bag transfer service in Asakusa, we realized it’s actually pretty easy to move locations. For our next trip, we’d probably spend 5 days in TDR and then the other 5 days in central Tokyo. Maihama Station is about 2-3 train transfers and an hour away from the city, so it’s not too inconvenient. However, now that we’re more familiar with Tokyo and how things work, we’d feel more confident about moving hotels and spending less time in one area. Just to reduce that travel time into somewhere like Shinjuku or Harajuku etc.

I loved the size of our room. . .3 beds and a sofa! The restaurant was well staffed. Someone was always around to help you with translation. Being connected to the train station made it very easy to get around. With a shopping mall right across the street, it was very convenient for snacks and late night meals.

We stayed at Tokyo bay with the intention of going to the Disney Parks and visiting Central Tokyo. However where we stayed was further out than we had initially expected about 1 hour on the tube to get to central Tokyo. It wasn't a deal breaker but there wasn't much around to do outside of the theme parks other than going to Downtown Disney for food or shopping. We opted to just stay around Disney for the last few days due to this as we had two children with us and they were pretty tired at the end of our trip and it felt a slightly more convenient to do so.
Unfortunately we didn't see much else of Urayasu so I cant really provide much in the way of feedback.
