Great hotel. As stated in previous reviews, it is a little outdated. Quiet and clean though. The staff is excellent in every fashion. Restaurants are amazing. Breakfast buffet really good. For its location if you don’t mind taking the tram or walking to old town, it’s easier to get there.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was clean and well-organized, and the service was excellent.
There was a minor issue with a shower leak that couldn’t be fixed right away, but the staff responded quickly, gave us a mop and towels, and as a gesture of goodwill, offered us two bottles of wine and two boxes of chocolates.
The room was very comfortable and conveniently located near the train station and the city center.
Highly recommended – we’d definitely stay here again!

Slightly worried beforehand about reputation for rowdy stag/hen weekends but saw little of this and certainly didn't impact us

We bought tickets for the big red bus for 2 days, and did all routes and the River cruise.
Trams were very convenient and at 5or 6 minute intervals, that could take you to places you were not able to visit within the 48 hour ticket.
The restaurants were great, so much food and no room for desert. Although I did have to try a chimney cake before leaving. Money well spent, the people were very helpfuland kind.

The old town is all within easy walking distance and the bus/tram/metro system is very easy to use for visting other parts of this beautiful city and it's free if you're 65 or over - no ticket required, just I.D.
If you like Baroque architecture this is the place to visit. If you don't speak Czech this isn't a problem as just about everybody speaks English!
The only negative is that the main tourist areas e.g. Tyn church and Charles Bridge can be very busy particularly with large tour groups.

A beautiful city with many incredibly ornate churches.
A beautiful city with many incredibly ornate churches. Most of the city is easily accessible by walking (although cobble stones everywhere, which may be an issue for some). The bus and tram system was very efficient and accessible - and free for over 65's.
Food choices are good, although perhaps a little dearer than expected.
Many different and unusual sites to see besides the churches e.g. the huge castle complex, Charles Bridge, the Powder Tower, Palac Lucerna, the Kafka Head etc.

best location in old town. very near to old town square, restorants and public transportation. also in walking distance to new town and other side of Chales brige. although hotel is located very central area, it s far away from noise. we stayed very big room which has amazing view of Tyn square and church. the little gifts and treats in the room were ver special. open buffet breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious. all staff at hotel was so friendly. but special thanks to Anastasia. she was always so kind and helpful.
We stayed for 8 nights over Christmas so it was cold outside but lovely and warm in our room. The location was great. Legenda bar, restaurant, music venue is just down the road. Right find. The Pilsner urquell was cheap and the food was banging. Just next door to our local tube station Pavlova was Coffee factory. Lovely little place for coffee and brunch. Weather permitting decent walk to Wenslesnas Square or 2 tubes to Old Town square, Starometska. Will defo stay at this hotel again next time we're over.
The location of this hotel is excellent for walking around the city centre, just around the corner from Wenceslas square and then walk down the boulevard to old town square. Plenty of restaurants and bars around to suit all tastes.
The room was really nice with a fantastic view across the city to the castle, beds were nice and comfy and a good hot shower.
The rooftop bar is also good for a drink to watch the sun setting.
This is not my first stay in this hotel. It has beautiful rooms, comfortable and well-equipped. Location is great, in the city centre and just next to red and green metro lines. It is in a walking distance from Old Town square. There are a lot of restaurants around working till late. Personnel in the hotel is also nice.
