The location is truly extraordinary. The hacienda is located next to a nature reserve amidst beautiful vegetation and impressive landscape. The hacienda can only be reached with a tarabita, a cable car crossing a canyon with spectacular views onto a waterfall. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special. They also prepared local food, including the trouts that we could fish in a pond right next to the restaurant.

The chalet is very beautiful, view is amazing, mainly at night, host is attensive, dinner (extra charge) was very tasty, we loved the jakuzzi
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

I’ve stayed at the hotel 3 times in the last 4 months, once with friends, second time with my wife and now with my daughter. The location is perfect if coming or going to Amazon. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. I always have the local trout for dinner

The cabins are set in a beautiful garden and I saw hummingbirds from the terrace. I could explore the orchid houses at any time. The staff were really kind and friendly. The rate for single travellers is very good value. The walk down to Banos took about an hour but was down very scenic paths
The owners were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and the food was really fresh and tasty. Wonderful art was everywhere! I loved the hammock in our room (and a fireplace was ther too but we didn't use it). The in-massage I received at their in-house spa was phenomenal. The place is outside of Banos, in a tiny village. It is an easy walk to the gorgeous Diablo waterfall and the village doesn't feel as touristy as Banos itself. There is a river running outside of the hotel, which was lovely to fall asleep to.
The private room was spacious, the bed was big and confortable. The common areas were really nice. There was a kitchen, a outdoor fireplace, a pool table and a foosball. The bar’s prices were reasonable and good Gin&Tonic. The food was okay. Breakfast was good. The atmosphere was great. Can higly recommend the place!
Bedside cabinet.
Bedside lamp.
Several electricity sockets, with two near to the bed.
Hot water in the shower and bathroom sink... but only at night after 7pm.
Nice host.
The room was very cosy as it was furnished with wooden furniture, it was also quite spacious. We used the kitchen a lot and it had all that you needed. The owners of this hostel are very lovely and helpful.
Nice and true holiday cabin with modern interior, everything what you need for mini kitchen, quiet surroundings. As host had promised, early morning we have had an opportunity to glance into the volcano while in the middle of the rainy season. Multilingual (Spanish, English, Russian) host provided many tips of where to eat and go during this short stop in Banos. Spasibo.
Lovely cabin, well equipped (Wi-Fi, TV and hot shower) and sparkling clean. Wonderful location, very helpful host was kind enough to explain where the local market, supermarket and hot springs are located. Amazing mountain view. Well designed and decorated. Big parking space. One of the best places we have stayed in Ecuador.
