Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport - Free Shuttle Bus & Official Registration Agency during Canton Fair is located right opposite to Gate 12 of Terminal 1 Departure Hall. I arrived early in the morning and they had a room ready for me, they gave me even an upgrade. Room had a nice view to see the starting planes. You can walk over to Terminal 1 or take the free shuttle to Terminal 2. Great location!

To be honest, it's hard for me to imagine that this is an old hotel. Really, it's well maintained and I'm surprised. The room is very warm. The shuttle bus driver was also very friendly and thanked me for a wonderful holiday.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, very clean, with wonderful beds and bedding. Slippers and robes were provided. The air conditioning worked well. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent! The hotel is right next to the airport, but the planes taking off and landing did not disturb our sleep when the windows and curtains were closed. The blackout curtains made the room dark and cozy for sleeping, and they also helped block sound. The only minor downside was that the bathroom walls were not as soundproof—but that was manageable. The staff were very attentive and caring, helping us with every question. We arrived quite late and the hotel restaurant was already closed. At reception, they offered late-night guests free hot food—several dishes to choose from—plus tea, coffee, and a soft drink. That was a very pleasant surprise. We also got a bit lost at the airport and couldn’t immediately find the hotel shuttle stop. We messaged the hotel and they quickly guided us to the right place, where the shuttle picked us up. Honestly, we were sorry to stay only one night. I would have loved to spend several days at such a hotel! A few small suggestions to improve the hotel further: first, please add a shoehorn in the rooms. Not everyone wears slippers or sandals, and a shoehorn makes it easier to put on shoes. Second, add some furniture on the balcony. A couple of simple wicker chairs and a small table would make it much more comfortable to sit outside, enjoy a coffee, and watch the airplanes take off. I had a wonderful stay at Shangpin Holiday Inn near Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. I landed at 3:00 AM and didn’t feel stressed at all, as the hotel kindly provided a free airport pickup—such a relief after a long flight. The hotel is in a calm, peaceful area that feels like a small village. We found two amazing halal restaurants nearby with great prices and friendly staff. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, our room was always clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. We had a nice view, and even though it’s close to the airport, the room was completely soundproof. The laundry room was also a very helpful bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing and stress-free stay near the airport!
