Great hotel attached to wonderful family pool with a wellness area. Great for pairs, or families with young kids. Hotel is modern and our room had a well appointed kitchenette and a bunk bed with a penguin mural.

Schloss Lübbenau is perfectly located in a peaceful park, only 5 minutes’ walk from the large harbor on the edge of the old town, which marks the starting place for wonderful boat trips.

Breakfast was great and so was the location! The staff were very friendly.

Hotel is located in good place, near a little store and McDonald, did not try their restaurant. It was clean and quiet.

Newly opened in 2017, this 4-star boutique hotel is quietly and centrally located in the historic Old Town of Lübbenau, just a 3-minute walk from the harbor.

I only stayed for 1 night, my experience here was beyond expectation. Smooth check in and the staff offered to help me carry my luggage up to my room (no elevator). The room is elegantly decorated, spacious and clean. The breakfast was exceptional, the gentleman working breakfast shift was polite and attentive. Overall, this is a 10 out of 10 stay, I highly recommend.

It was a very nice room with latest amenities. Most probably the best looking room so far in my latest travels. The staff were really nice and friendly. Location is good as well.

    Not for anyone seeking a bit of excitement. We rented kayaks and that was a lot of fun, prices are high for most everything and many of the locals seemed to be super stressed out by the tourists. They have an odd sense of humor there that not everyone will appreciate. The nearby Tropical Island Resort was great, specially if you have kids. The massivness of the building alone was very impressive the facilities were well thought out and well cared for.

    Both my friend and I had a magical experience at the Schloss. The location was breath taking. The top floor room had a beautiful view of the gardens. The breakfast had great variety and the dinner at the hotel was a very romantic, fine dining experience for us. In all cases the staff was super friendly, and accommodating. 10/10 would come here again.

    The most authentic and tranquil place that I have been to in Germany. Friendly people, gorgeous canals and cycling or walking from village to village on pristine paths. Relaxation, great food and a festive (but not excessive) vibe. Definitely will be back!

    The city is boring.

    The city is boring. And if you also come for the weekend, then the only available entertainment is kayaking and canoeing will be heavily loaded. Sometimes there were no kayaks/canoes available due to the influx of people. Hiking and cycling trails do not deserve mentions

    Lübbenau is one of the best places to stay in the Spreewald!

    Lübbenau is one of the best places to stay in the Spreewald! It's a small, quiet village, yet it has many restaurants and cafes, a train station, and offers many possibilities for outdoor activities (I recommend renting a kayak to visit the Spreewald canals!). The village itself is really cute and the breathtaking Spreewald scenery is right nearby. If you book a hotel or pension there, you get a discount card which allows you to use the local bus and train for free, and gives you discounts for many tourist activities! I recommend visiting Lübbenau in the spring or in the fall, when nature is the most beautiful and there aren't too many tourists around. It can get really crowded in the summer.

    Lübbenau is a cute little town, it's fun to walk around...

    Lübbenau is a cute little town, it's fun to walk around there, but what is even better is to take a boat, kayak, or bike further into the Spreewald and explore there. We went from Lübbenau to Lehde and it was really fun to explore the canals. Everything is really beautiful. The whole area is calm and quiet but also offers a lot of fun things to do. Will definitely come back!

    Hotel is nicely located not far from the railway station and bus stop. 20 min walking to the Grosser Hafen. Very good breakfast, clean room. Our room was ready 2 hours in advance. 3 years old child was allowed to stay for free.
