Located on San Diego’s picturesque Mission Bay, Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina features contemporary guest rooms, an environmentally friendly spa and an on-site marina.

Our 1st floor room was beautiful and we loved our private secluded patio (room 1986). There is no view but the room opens up to the patio and makes the living area very spacious. Super comfy bed and couch, too. The pool area is so fun! My son had a great time on the slides and I enjoyed the food and drink options from both the onsite restaurants.

FAQs about hotels in San Diego

The Art of Easy Living

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favorite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.

The city’s most recognizable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. As original Spanish mission and first in California, it's has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighborhoods.

The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbor seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.

Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodations encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.

    LOVED SAN DIEGO!

LOVED SAN DIEGO! Beautiful place to visit, having completed a trip with 3 days at 5 locations it was the perfect end to our 3 week holiday. Paradise point resort and spa, was amazing, views from bungalow (Mission Bay facing) with access with easy walking around village and onsite restaurants, pools suitable for family's and adult only pools, plus fire pits on beach. love watching the water sports in bay too. on last day whilst waiting for late flight back to UK, went to Coronado Island, which was just lovely. clean, good food and lovely beach. more pricy, but worth the trip. loved San Diego and will visit again!

We enjoyed the San Diego Zoo, the Little Italy farmers market and art market and Balboa Park. If you are staying in town, it is very easy to get to the zoo and Balboa Park on the busline. One day for the zoo is just right. We also visited Balboa Park on one day, and there is so much to do there! If you like plants, the Botanical building, and the Japanese garden are must-see. There are also many museums and exhibits that we had to pick and choose from. The Prado restaurant has very delicious food, and it was so pleasant to eat out on the patio.

The hotel is great for a long weekend trip as everything is at your disposal. The location was excellent, right on the beach. The hotel has a rental service of bikes, boogie boards, etc which makes it so convenient. Great restaurants all within walking distance, we even walked to Belmont Park which was a fun! The hot tub was great too, as many evening it was cool, and having that was a nice way to relax. The hotel remodel is modern, hip. The lobby is great to hang out and play boardgames, etc.

The location was excellent, very close to the Gaslamp quarter, and a short walk to the San Diego Bay, and attractions. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, with a good onsite bar and restaurant. It's an older and historic hotel and has a nice feel to it, with a relaxed vibe. Also worth noting it's an easy walk to the convention center, and tram system at the bottom of 5th avenue.
