It’s was absolutely nice stay from the beginning to the end of the trip. The staff pay a lot of attention to me, especially Nikola who assisted me with all inquiries during my accommodation. I’m really satisfied with the level of service, view, and overall experience. Strongly recommended!

We stayed for a week because we were attending a family wedding. It’s a beautiful little gem of a place . Lots of good restaurants and the people are friendly
I don’t think it’s great for children . There is no beach - just a man made bathing platform with difficult access to the deep water. However there are several beach clubs and small beaches nearby .

Its such an idyllic location on the bay.
Its such an idyllic location on the bay. Watching the sun set from the hotel terrace or eating breakfast there was a joy. Perast has a 14th Century church, with beautifully carved alter piece and marble floors. Ascending the church tower is a must to view the bay - but don't ring the bells!
We also visited the small museum, which housed local historical objects and gave an overview of the history of Perast.
The town square hosted two open air wedding receptions while we were there. So romantic and a privilege to stroll by at dusk as the lights twinkled from the lights in the villages across the bay.

Perast is a charming little gem on the Bay of Kotor, perfect for those who appreciate history and quiet beauty. I loved the old-town atmosphere—narrow stone streets, baroque buildings, and the stunning backdrop of mountains meeting the sea. While it doesn’t have beaches, the stone piers offer a peaceful place to swim or relax by the water.
Even though I visited in the off-season, it was still fairly crowded, and parking was a real challenge due to the limited space. Still, the scenic views and calm vibe made it worth the visit.

A pretty but small town right on the water.. some very good restaurants (especially Conte) easy to arrange boat trips and the views of the bay are lovely. Surprisingly, there isn’t a boat taxi service to Kotor (just tours) although there is a bus .. no bakery in town but there are a couple of small supermarkets.. we were here in May so just as the season is starting up .. I imagine it is packed with tourists in the height of the summer or when there are lots of cruise ships in

Just came back . As out of season enjoyable.
Just came back . As out of season enjoyable. If height of season would not be my cup of tea plus you cannot drive into Perast in height of season. Good to stay there and quieter when the tourists leave and easier to reserve restaurants. Add at Conti restaurant twice

Perast is a charming, but VERY small town.
Perast is a charming, but VERY small town. We thought it was going to be much bigger. You can walk from one end of town to the other in just over 10 mins.
There are a couple of mini markets in town, but they offer a very limited choice of food and NO meat, and are expensive. I suggest picking up supplies from a larger supermarket in either Kotor or Gisan, on your way to Perast, and just use the mini marts for topping up supplies.
The reason I rated this town so poorly is because, Perast is TOTALLY overrun with tourists from the 2-3 cruise ships that come into Kotor daily. They bus HUNDREDS of tourists from these cruises to Perast. There are so many people walking down the 1 main street of the town that you have to continually dodge the crowds. The cruise ships have totally ruined the vibe of this beautiful little town. Its actually a travesty that the authorities in Montenegro allow these massive ships to enter this small bay. I cant even imagine the environmental damage it is doing to the bay. The tourist congestion around Kotor and Perast, as a result of these cruise ships that each disgorge often 1000's of tourists daily, WILL, unfortunately leave a bad taste in your mouth. I suggest if you stay in Perast you rent a car or scooter so you can escape the town after 10am, when all the buses arrive, and then return after 4pm when they have all left. Then you will get to see the experience the CHARMING, chill side of Perast.

Hotel Conte in Perast is a hidden gem nestled in a town that feels like a miniature Venice, with a sublime atmosphere and stunning views of the Kotor "fjord". The hotel's interiors are exquisitely designed, offering a classy, luxurious experience reminiscent of La Dolce Vita. Every detail, from the elegant rooms to the breathtaking surroundings, makes for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of elegance and serenity.
Amazing location right on the water. Owners were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating - we felt like family. Awesome breakfast served at the water's edge. Quiet, comfortable rooms. We loved it so much that we asked for an additional night and they were able to accommodate our request. We will definitely return to the Admiral on our next visit to Montenegro.
The property was located at a beautiful spot in Perast and had a gorgeous sea view! It was kept spick and span by the lovely housekeeper Stephani! She is such a fabulous lady!
